This is a bit of a Throwback Thursday! Rising from the ashes of the former surfer Cali rock band Rooney comes the sure-to-be shooting comet STARSYSTEM. That’s right folks, the delectable Robert Schwartzman is up to new toe-tapping tunes. This particular song from their EP “Pleasure District”, which was just released this week, is going to be the money maker.  Comin’ at you with 90’s rap-esque beats and keyboards, joined with disco funk bass and back-up vocals is a songs that I can picture myself skate-dancing to.
